Why not try one of the following search engines if you are looking for information online.

Remember to choose great keywords to help your search. For example, if you are looking for information about the population of the city of Melbourne, you might use the words

Melbourne population 2011

This will help check that my information is up to date. You can watch the video at the bottom of this page for more information about using search engines.

Remember it is important to consider where your information comes from. Sites that end in .edu or .gov may be more reliable than those ending in .com or .org. Sites that end in .au may be more relevant to Australia than those just ending in .com.
